When I first started in this work, I wasn’t thinking about building an agency. I was thinking about families. I was thinking about how to show up well, how to support people through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and how to grow into this role in a meaningful way.
What I didn’t fully understand at the time was that this work when built intentionally has the power to grow far beyond one-on-one support.
Over time, that path led me to building Chicago Family Doulas, growing a team of over 400 doulas and 21 admin, supporting thousands of families each year, and stepping into a leadership role within this field.
And now, I’m honored to be part of a space that is focused specifically on that next level of growth.
Doula Agency Leaders Summit
I’m excited to share that I’ll be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Doula Agency Leaders Summit. This is a space designed for doula agency owners who are thinking bigger about their work, their impact, and the way they build and lead within this field.

What I'll Be Speaking On
I’ll be sharing both the keynote and leading conversations around: running and growing a large doula agency and client acquisition in today’s landscape. These are two areas that often feel unclear as you grow.
Because building an agency isn’t just about having more clients or bringing on more doulas.
It’s about:
- Systems
- Structure
- Leadership
- and Sustainable Growth
And client acquisition when done well is not about chasing. It’s about building trust, visibility, and relationships in a way that consistently brings the right families to you.
Why This Matters
There are so many incredible doulas doing meaningful work. But the pathway to growing a team, building an agency, and creating a sustainable business is not always clear.
This summit creates space for those conversations. The real ones. The ones that go beyond training and into:
- Leadership
- Operations
- Growth
- Long-term impact
A Little About My Path
I’m the founder of Chicago Family Doulas and Birth & Baby University, and co-founder of Gaux. Over the years, my work has focused on two things: supporting families and supporting the professionals who care for them. That has meant building teams, creating systems, mentoring doulas, and continuously evolving how we show up in this field.
Why I'm Looking Forward to This
One of the most meaningful parts of this work is connection. Being in a room (or virtual space) with other professionals who care deeply, are asking bigger questions, and are ready to grow. That’s where real momentum happens.
I’m genuinely looking forward to meeting you, hearing your stories, and being part of the conversations that move this work forward.
If You're Thinking About Joining
If you’re: building an agency, thinking about growing your practice, or wanting to step into a bigger role in this field, then this is a space worth being in. There is still time to sign up.
This work matters. And how we build it, together, matters just as much. I hope to see you there.
